Claire Margaret Corlett is a 17-year-old Canadian actress, director, and creator. She was first introduced to voice acting when her father, Ian James Corlett, made her a voice demo when she was five years old. She never looked back. Voices for commercials soon followed as did animation work. In short order she became well known for being the voice of Sweetie Belle in the TV series My Little Pony: Friendship is Magic, Tiny in the TV series Dinosaur Train, Stacie in Barbie & Her Sisters: The Great Puppy Adventure, and Dizzy in the TV series Bob the Builder plus many more.
On-screen, Claire co-starred with Bailee Madison, Michelle Creber, and Jessalyn Gilsig in Hallmark’s TV movie Smart Cookies. And more recently roles in upcoming series The Deep, for ABC/Freeform and the soon-to-be-released feature, Before I Fall with Zoe Deutch and Halston Sage.
When she has free time outside of working in films, she creates her own. She became a documentarian at the age of 15, producing, directing, and editing her own documentary, Bronies & Ponies: A Journey Through Equestria which can be viewed on her popular YouTube channel ClaireCoaCoaNutz. Claire uploads entertaining YouTube videos every week on her channel — so subscribe! She is also hosting an iTunes/SoundCloud podcast: An Idiot and a Broad.
Filmmaking is just one of Claire’s many passions. Outside of her work in the entertainment industry, she leads a very busy life. She enjoys singing, baking, cooking, writing, playing soccer, and watching movies. Claire is in her last year in high school, and performing musical theatre. Some of Claire’s most prominent theatre roles have included portraying Olive Ostrovsky in The 25th Annual Putnam County Spelling Bee and the Scarecrow in The Wizard of Oz.
Claire enjoys traveling and loves to meet her fans at conventions all around the world.
