(BALTIMORE)—BronyCon is spreading kindness this Derpy Day Weekend by offering $9.69 off of its 3-Day and 3-Day PLUS badges to its Aug. 7-9 convention!

The sale will run from 12:00 a.m. (EST) Friday Feb. 27 through 11:59 p.m. (EST) Sunday March 1. Apply the promo code “MUFFINS” when you register for BronyCon.

Derpy Day was first established on March 1, 2011, and has been recognized annually by fans of “My Little Pony: Friendship is Magic” ever since. The heart of this holiday is doing random acts of kindness for other people. Of course the rules for this are quite simple:

  • Eat a muffin or two
  • Move an item in your residence to the wrong place
  • Cross your eyes for any photos
  • Send a kind, hoof-written letter to a friend
  • … And most importantly, buy all of your friends badges to BronyCon! (Not really, but really)

Tweet @BronyCon using #GiveAMuffin with a picture of you doing your favorite Derpy Day activity, and we’ll retweet our favorite ones. There may be a few surprises at the end of the weekend for those who participate with us on Twitter.

Additionally, we have officially launched BronyCon’s Thursday Activities page, so head over there to see what fun things there are to do around Baltimore if you’re arriving early.
